This Legal Notice and Terms of Use govern access to the website weepar.com, operated by Weepar Capital S/A (“Weepar”, “we”). By browsing the website, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Purpose of the website
This is a corporate website. It presents Weepar and its activity in the international trade of physical commodities (sugar, gold, diamonds and copper), offers market content for information purposes only, and provides a contact channel for anyone wishing to start a commercial conversation.
2. No offer or recommendation
Nothing on this website constitutes an offer, invitation or solicitation to buy or sell goods, contracts, securities or any other assets, nor investment advice or financial, legal, accounting or tax advice.
Nothing on this website should be construed as a public offering of securities or as the provision of advisory, management or brokerage services subject to registration or authorisation by authorities such as the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM), the Central Bank of Brazil, the SEC (United States), the FCA (United Kingdom), the CMA (Saudi Arabia) or the CSRC (China). Seek independent professional advice before making any decision.
3. Quotes and market data
- The quotes, charts, indicators and currency conversions displayed are indicative, may be delayed and are supplied by third parties such as TradingView, the LBMA and public exchange-rate services.
- Sugar and copper prices come from market sources (CFD/spot) and are not the official prices of ICE Futures or the London Metal Exchange (LME). The gold price is the LBMA Gold Price, published with a delay.
- This data does not represent a firm commercial price and must not be relied upon for trades, contracts or investment decisions. We do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, up to date or continuously available.
4. Commercial transactions
Every transaction with Weepar depends on specific negotiation and a separate written contract. Before any business, we carry out onboarding and compliance checks (know your customer, KYC) in line with anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing rules, applicable international sanctions regimes (such as those of the UN, the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom) and, for diamonds, the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme. Weepar may decline any contact or transaction at its discretion and without giving reasons.
5. Insights and editorial content
Analyses published in Insights reflect their authors’ views on the date of publication, may become outdated and must not be taken as a forecast or guarantee of results. Past market performance is no guarantee of future results.
6. Limitation of liability
The website is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weepar is not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from the use of the website or reliance on its content, from errors, delays or unavailability of third-party data, or from interruptions, technical failures or attacks beyond our reasonable control.
7. Third-party links and content
The website may display third-party content or link to other websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy policies. You access them at your own risk.
8. Intellectual property and trademarks
The texts, visual identity, logo, images and code of this website belong to Weepar or are used under licence, and may not be copied or reused for commercial purposes without prior written permission. ICE, LME, LBMA, TradingView and other names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners; they are referred to for information only and do not indicate any partnership, sponsorship or affiliation with Weepar.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to access restricted areas, not to overload or attack its infrastructure, and not to scrape data automatically or reuse the quotes displayed. We may block access that breaches these terms.
10. Languages
This website is available in Portuguese, English, Arabic and Chinese. In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Portuguese version prevails.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the City of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, shall have jurisdiction over any matter arising from them, except where the law guarantees a different venue.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this notice at any time; the date of the last update appears at the top of the page. Questions may be sent to [email protected]. The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
